Medical Director Boot Camp
July 9-10, 2010  ·  Boston, Massachusetts

Presented by the National Commission on Correctional Health Care and the Society of Correctional Physicians

Last year's inaugural event was a great success, attracting medical directors and physician leaders of all experience levels who came to learn not only from expert presenters but also from each other. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, but to provide even greater benefit we are refining this year's program.

Who Should Attend

  • Physicians new to leadership, e.g., task force leaders, department heads, regional chiefs

  • Physicians being groomed as leadership candidates

  • Physicians viewed as opinion leaders on the medical staff

  • Current physician leaders who would benefit from a refresher course on the essentials

We highly recommend that chief physician executives attend alongside their registered physician participants. Senior-level attendance signals the importance of partnership between physician leaders and executives and enhances the opportunity to apply Boot Camp learning to facility goals and objectives.
