Preventing Recidivism

Updates 2012 features a special focus on this theme, along with a solid core of topics germane to all aspects of work in this diverse field. The weekend preconference seminars will take a more in-depth look at the fundamentals of correctional health care, including NCCHC’s standards for health services.

Health IT Tips for Jails

A special educational track is being presented by Community Oriented Correctional Health Services, a nonprofit organization established to build partnerships between jails and community health care providers. Topics will include use of health information technology, legal issues and more.
